This EatSimple28 Challenge has opened my eyes to my bad habits! You know, the endless cycle of snacking on chips because I ‘think’ I’m hungry. Or skipping breakfast so I can save a few calories. Or eating “a little something to tide me over before dinner”. Say what? I’m not a 2 year old. No doubt, this has put me on the right path. I followed the plan to a tee. The first week was hell (I’m not going to lie) but the last few weeks have been greater than ever. I have more energy than ever before. My joints don’t hurt and I sleep through the night.

My favorite thing about the EatSimple28 program is the simple meal plans – it has helped me get excited about cooking for the first time in my life. I love it that the recipes have common, everyday ingredients because I live in a small town and I can’t buy some of the “fancy” food that is available in bigger stores. Love the CEMS community! Everyone in the Facebook group is so positive and friendly. It’s wonderful to be on this health journey with a group of highly motivated, like-minded people! HANDS DOWN, the best thing I have ever done was register for my first EatSimple28 challenge. I am the girl who buys the diet cookbooks yet never makes a recipe, and pays for a gym membership and never goes. Something had to change. I bought Anne’s program because of the familiar foods in the recipes. I’m a busy mom of 3 little ones, and I just don’t have the time to make gourmet meals. I loved the EatSimple28 Program. I originally bought it for the simple meal plans but what I really liked is the education that is included. Most programs just give you a meal plan but they never explain the “why” behind stuff. I like to know WHY I should eat this and not eat that. Just knowing more has helped me stay on track!

This program is awesome! I really like how basic the recipes are. My kids are seriously the pickiest eaters on the planet, but they will eat “regular” food. The grocery list is so helpful too; with kids in tow, I’m able to buzz through the grocery store in no time. When we get home, the entire family jumps in to chop vegetables, cook a few sweet potatoes, etc. and it’s done in about 2 hours flat. If I didn’t have her meal prep outline, I definitely wouldn’t do it so fast. This has literally changed our entire family’s eating habits for the better!

I NEED easy when it comes to cooking! I work over 40 hours a week, have 3 kids 15, 12 and 8 and a husband who only wants “meat and potatoes”. Lord help me. Our entire family is on board with this, and I’m amazed that everyone is licking the plate at every meal. All the kids are learning how to cook, and it makes me tear up. Our family just finished the 28 day challenge and honestly, I was amazed at how simple the recipes are. Often times, people advertise that their program is “easy” but then they have ingredients that I’ve never heard of (or my kids won’t eat). I’m fairly good in the kitchen yet it’s hard to know what to substitute if I can’t find an ingredient. If we don’t like an ingredient, we refer to the Substitutions List that’s included in the program. It makes cooking fun again!

My reason for buying the EatSimple28 plan is because I don’t have a clue on how to cook. I honestly hate it. But I want to put healthy meals on the table for my kids and husband so I needed a basic plan to guide me. When I read that this includes a step-by-step blueprint on how to meal prep in just a couple of hours, I was all in. And guess what. It really works! Even me, the person who knows nothing about cooking, is able to get 5 days of food prepped in around 2 hours (give or take if a kid is in the kitchen!). And then each day, our meals come together in about 10-15 minutes. LOVE IT!

Omg, so much say and very thankful for Anne and her online program. It has changed our lives for the better by bringing our family closer and by eating healthier meals. My girls get involved in preparing lunch and dinner, and their teachers have noticed a difference in them at school. This is by far the best online program! If you want simple, you got it. I don’t want to spend hours on end in the kitchen but I also want to lose weight and have more energy. Each week, the meal plan got easier for me to do. I would follow the meal prep blueprint and to my surprise, it was done in a little over an hour. But the meal plans are SO simple and easy, that my 10 year old could do it (well, she does do it!).
